Negeri Sembilan Minangkabau shoreline is an area which is administratively a part of the territory of Malaysia . Although oceans apart and separate countries due to the Dutch and British colonial rule , most people Negeri Sembilan still acknowledge that their ancestors came from Minangkabau Indonesia. Language and customs of the inhabitants practiced Negeri Sembilan today has many similarities with the language and customs of the Minangkabau .
