A gap between the competence of graduates of vocational school (SMK) with the real needs of businesses and industries (DU/DI), this is due to still weak SMK graduates in terms of soft skills. The gap can be indicated by low labor absorption of SMK graduates by DU/DI. Therefore this study aimed to verify: (i) the relevance between competencies needed by DU/DI and competencies generated by SMK, (ii) the level of competitiveness of SMK graduates in obtaining employment.
