Pembelajaran Politik Di Kampung Sungai Limau Kecamatan Pusako Kabupaten Siak

Kampung Sungai Limau is one of the villages located in the District of Pusako, Siak Regency, Riau Province. The village or Sungai Limau village has villagers who are generally engaged in animal husbandry and agriculture, such as oil palm, rubber and trees that can be utilized by their wood tomeet the daily needs of the Sungai Limau Village community. In population data the level of education is dominated by high school graduates. Parents' attention to children's education is quite good, but more participation is needed from parents to supporttheir children's education so they do not drop out of school. However, the level of awareness of Kampung Sungai Limau residents regarding politics is still lacking. This can be seen from the fact that there are still people who do not take general elections in the form of not using their voting rights.The method of implementing community service is carried out by counseling and discussion, pre-test and post-test. Extension methods are carried out by giving explanations of material on Political Studies toVillage officials, Community Empowerment Institutions, communities.As a result, from the conditions it turned out that the participants did not understand all the indicators related to political learning. But this is already quite good because there aregeneral indicators that are understood by participants such as political parties, legislative political and political development. This means that from 12 indicators, participants have understood 4 indicators and those that have not been understood are 8 indicators. Therefore the results of the pre test become basic knowledge in the next step which is to provide political learning in the form of counseling. The activity began with a prior discussion about the participants' knowledge of politics and the most striking in the village / village related to the role of the village head as executive and Village Consultative Body / BPD as the village legislature. After counseling and discussion the next step is to give a post test on community service activities, the initial question is given again as the pre test to participants on the knowledge of political learning and the result is an increase in understanding.
