PENERAPANPENDEKATAN JELAJAH ALAMSEKITAR BERBASISPRAKTIKUMTERHADAP PENGUASAAN KONSEP PADA MATA KULIAH MORFOLOGI TUMBUHANDAN EKOLOGI TUMBUHAN DIFKIP UNIVERSITASLANCANG KUNING

The purpose of the research is to identify the effect of using outdoor learning
based on practical towards conceptual understanding in Morphology and Ecology Plants
courses in FKIP Lancang Kuning University. Research conducted at FKIP Unilak
academic year 2014/2015. Design of the research was pretest-posttest control groups
design. The sample of the research consisted of two classes, namely IIA, IIB, VIA and VIB
with total of the sample was 100 students that were taken by purposive sampling
technique. Parameter of the research was conceptual understanding, and students’ and
teacher’s activities. The data analysis was performed by using t-test and Man UWhitney. The mean of N-Gain in the control class was 0.64 (medium category) and in the
experimental class was 0.75 (high category) for IIA and IIB. The mean of N-Gain in the
control class was 0.44 (medium category) and in the experimental class was 0.72 (high
category) for VIA and VIB. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that
there are significant effect of using autdoor learning based on practical towards
conceptual undersanding in Morphology and Ecology Plants courses in FKIP Lancang
Kuning University.
