PENGARUH MODEL LEARNING CYCLE BERBANTUAN READING GUIDE TERHADAP PENGUASAAN KONSEP SISTEM EKSKRESI PADA SISWA KELAS XI IPA SMA NEGERI 2 SELAT PANJANG

The aimed of this research was to know the effect of learning cycle
model assisted reading guide on student’s concept comprehension of the subject
maters excretory system in class XI IPA. This research conducted SMAN 2
selatpanjang academic year 2014/2015 even semester on March 2015. The
method of this research used was quasi experiment with nonequivalent pretestposttest control group design.The sample of this research were student of XI IPA
1 and XI IPA 2 by the number of students in each class were 30 students which
were taken by simple random sampling technique. The data where collected by
pretest, posttest, and teacher and student activity sheet. The data was analyzed for
test comparatif hypotesis in the from of t-test independen 2 sample.The mean of Ngain at experiment class was 0,76 (categorized at high), while at control class
was 0,48 (categorized at medium). Based on statistic test used t-test, was found
there was significant different between the N-gain class eksperiment and class
control. It can be concluded that there was an effect of learning cycle model
assisted reading guide on student’s concept comprehension of th subject maters
excretory system in class XI IPA SMAN 2 selatpanjang academic year 2014/2015.
