PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS PORTOFOLIO TERHADAP PENGUASAAN KONSEP MORFOLOGI TUMBUHAN PADA MAHASISWA SEMESTER III TAHUN 2012/2013

This research aimed to determine the effect of based learning portfolio concept
understanding of plant morphology on the third semester students in 2012/2013 . This research
was conducted at the University of Lancang Kuning FKIP Pekanbaru . This research method is
experimental weak with the one-shot case study design. Samples taken by purposive random
sampling technique is Pekanbaru IIIA semester student class as class 1 or class of experimental
treatments. The number of students by 30 people consisting of 25 women and 5 men. Data were
analyzed by paired sample t-test ( paired sample t -test) . Data collected through preliminary test
on concepts understanding, the final test in the form of portfolios and student questionnaires
were used. The mean of the results of a portfolio of 76.65 is higher than the 6.50 minimum
completeness criteria. The mean N - Gain derived from the experimental class concept
understanding 5.73. Lecturer and students responded positively to the portfolio -based learning.
From the results of this study it can be concluded that there are significant based learning
portfolio on concepts understanding in plant morphology semester students IIIA.
